【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesatestmethoddesignedtoevaluatethebehaviourofmaterialsusedforprotectiveclothingwhensuchmaterialsarestruckbysmallliquidmetalsplashes,especiallywhenmoltensteelparticlesareprojectedagainstthematerial.Itappliestoanypliablematerial,orassemblyofmaterials,designedtoprotectworkersagainstsmallsplashesofmoltenmetal.Theresultsobtainedbythismethodenablethebehaviourofdifferentmaterialswhichhaveundergonethistestunderstandardizedconditionstobecompared.Theydonotpermitconclusionswithrespecttocontactswithlargesplashesofmoltencastironorothermetaltobedrawn,neitherwilltheyallowthebehaviourofcompletegarmentsunderindustrialconditionstobepredicted.
