Scope:This paper describes a recommended practice and procedure for the correlation of test cells that are used for the performance testing of turbofan and turbojet engines. Test cell correlation is performed to determine the effect of any given test cell enclosure and equipment on the performance of an engine relative to the baseline performance of that engine. 【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesdataforqualitycontrolandacceptanceorrejectionunderspecifications.Beforeproceedingwiththistestmethod,referenceshouldbemadetotheASTMspecificationofthematerialbeingtested.Anytestspecimenpreparation,conditioning,dimensions,ortestingparameters,orcombinationthereof,coveredinthematerialsspecificationshalltakeprecedenceoverthosementionedinthistestmethod.Iftherearenomaterialspecifications,thenthedefaultconditionshereinapply.Table1ofClassificationSystemD4000liststheASTMmaterialsstandardsthatcurrentlyexist.1.1Thistestmethodcoverscertainmaterialspecificationsforwhichahistoryofdatahasbeenobtainedusingthestandardmicrotensilespecimen.ThespecimengeometryhasbeenchangedtobeequivalenttothatofISO12086-2:1995.Ingeneral,thistestmethodissupersededforgeneralusebyeitherTestMethodsD882orTestMethodD638.TheverysmallTypeVspecimeninTestMethodD638istherecommendedspecimenwhenlimitedamountsofmaterialareavailable.1.2Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecomparativetensilestrengthandelongationpropertiesofplasticsintheformofstandardmicrotensiletestspecimenswhentestedunderdefinedconditionsofpretreatment,temperature,humidity,andtestingmachinespeed.Itcanbeusedforspecimensofanythicknessupto3.2mm(1/8in.),includingthinfilms.1.3Thistestmethodcannotbeusedforthedeterminationofmodulusofelasticity.Forthedeterminationofmodulus,seeTestMethodD638orTestMethodsD882.1.4Testdataobtainedbythistestmethodarerelevantandappropriateforuseinengineeringdesign.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
