【摘要】:ThispartofEN14662isinaccordancewiththegenericmethodologyforthedeterminationofbenzeneinambientair[1]forthepurposeofcomparisonofmeasurementresultswithlimitvalueswithaone-yearreferenceperiod.ThispartofEN14662givesgeneralguidanceforthesamplingandanalysisofbenzeneinairbypumpedsampling,solventdesorptionandcapillarygaschromatography.ThispartofEN14662isvalidforthemeasurementofbenzeneinaconcentrationrangeofapproximately0,5μg/mto50μg/minanairsampleof1mvolume,typicallycollectedoveraperiodof24hours.Theupperlimitoftheusefulrangeissetbythesorptivecapacityofthesorbentandbythelineardynamicrangeofthegaschromatographcolumnanddetectororbythesamplesplittingcapabilityoftheanalyticalinstrumentationused.Thelowerlimitoftheusefulrangedependsonthenoiselevelofthedetectorandonblanklevelsofbenzeneand/orinterferingartefactsonthesorbentandinthedesorptionsolvent.Themethoddescribedhereisbasedonsamplingonsampletubestypicallycontaining100mgofactivatedcharcoalanddesorptionusingcarbondisulphide.Alternativesorbentstoactivatedcharcoalmaybeusedprovidedthattheequivalenceinperformancecharacteristicsoftheprocedureisdemonstrated.Alternativedesorptionsolventstocarbondisulphidemaybeusedprovidedthattheequivalenceinperformancecharacteristicsoftheprocedureisdemonstrated.
