【摘要】:Thistestevaluatestherelativesensitivityofmaterialstodynamicpressureimpactsbyvariousgaseousfluidmedia(mayincludemixturesofgases).Anychangeorvariationsintestspecimenconfigurations,thickness,preparation,andcleanlinessmaycauseasignificantchangeinimpactsensitivity/reaction.Areactionisindicatedbyanabruptincreaseintestspecimentemperatureorbyobviouschangesinodor,color,ormaterialappearance,oracombinationthereof,asobservedduringposttestexaminations.Odoraloneisnotconsideredpositiveevidencethatareactionhasoccurred.Suggestedcriteriafortestcompletionatagivenpressureare:Eachspecimenissubjectedtofiveimpacts.Amaterialpassesifnoreactionsoccurin20successivesamples.Amaterialfailsifonereactionoccursinamaximumof20orfewersuccessivesamples.Materialsmayberankedbythemaximumpressure(pressurethreshold)atwhichtheypassthetest.Materialacceptancemaybeonthebasisofpassingataselectedpressure.1.1Thismethoddescribesatechniquetodeterminetherelativesensitivityofmaterialstodynamicpressureimpactsbygasessuchasoxygen,air,orblendsofgasescontainingoxygen.1.2Thismethoddescribesthetestapparatusandtestproceduresthatmaybeemployedintheevaluationofmaterialsforuseingasesunderdynamicpressureoperatingconditionsuptogagepressuresof10000psi(69MPa)atambienttemperature.1.3Thismethodisprimarilyatestforrankingofmaterials.Thismethodisnotnecessarilyvalidfordeterminationofthesensitivityofthematerialsinanx201C;as-usedx201D;configurationsincethematerialsensitivitymaybealteredbecauseofchangesinmaterialconfiguration,usage,andenvironment.Acceptabilityofanymaterialmaybebasedonitsperformanceataparticulartestpressure,ortestpressuremaybevariedtodeterminethereactionthresholdofamaterial,asspecifiedbytheuser.1.4Thecriteriausedfortheacceptance,retest,andrejectionofmaterialsforanygivenapplicationshallbedeterminedbytheuserandarenotfixedbythismethod.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForspecificprecautionsseeSection7.
